Visualizing Information with a Corporate Database
Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry
uSonar Co., Ltd., a provider of database marketing solutions (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President: Katsuhito Nagatake), has collaborated with the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry to visualize individual and affiliated companies. By leveraging LBC, one of Japan's largest corporate databases, and utilizing our long-standing data cleansing technology, we have assigned common keys (*1) and latitude/longitude information to the registry data (over 10 million records) used in the Ministry's statistical surveys.
1. Visualizing affiliated companies by utilizing the parent/subsidiary relationship codes within LBC.
uSonar supports the management and linking of corporate affiliations for various statistical survey business locations using LBC.
2. Enabling rapid assessment of the economic scale of disaster-stricken areas during natural disasters by assigning latitude and longitude information.
uSonar supports the improvement of data linkage accuracy for various information sets, aiming to streamline Evidence-Based Policy Making (EBPM) operations using LBC.
uSonar will continue to accelerate DX (Digital Transformation) support and market analysis reporting services, aiming to reduce operational burdens and improve productivity for the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, other government agencies, and private enterprises by leveraging LBC and our various data solutions.
