The interface for viewing and searching business card data is simple and intuitive. You can access the information you need or use essential functions with a single touch.
Business card data is displayed as thumbnails and can be sorted by name, company name, or registration date, making the screen easy to view and navigate. An Excel-like list view without thumbnails is also available.
Furthermore, business cards from the same individual held by others, as well as other cards from the same company, are displayed on the same screen, making internal connections immediately clear.
Starting with this version, we now support English, allowing for global use.

Online Business Card Exchange

Send a URL to register business card information, and the recipient can access that URL to receive your business card. The exchange is completed by having the recipient send a photo taken with their camera or a business card image file to the QR code displayed on the screen.

We use OCR equipped with a high-performance recognition engine. We continuously upgrade the recognition engine, aiming for a level of accuracy that requires no manual corrections.

For business card registration, you can use not only dedicated scanners but also your existing multifunction printers, scanners, image files, and smartphone cameras.

PFU N7100E

 

With the dedicated N7100E scanner, you can install it on the office floor for everyone to share. When you return from being out, you can register cards immediately with the push of a button.
*Requires a separate PFU network scanner N7100E and dedicated software. This model is now discontinued and is not available for new users.

Multifunction Printer / Scanner

 

You can register business cards from your existing multifunction printers or scanners. By setting multiple cards and scanning both the front and back, you can register both sides.

Smartphone Camera

 

You can easily register business cards by taking a photo using the camera button in the Meishi Sonar smartphone app.

We provide a dedicated smartphone integration app. Since it accesses business card data on Salesforce, no business card information is stored on the smartphone device itself, providing peace of mind in the event of loss. In addition to searching and viewing business cards, you can send emails or make phone calls with a single touch. If you receive a call from a phone number registered on a business card, the company name and contact name will be displayed on your smartphone screen. Furthermore, if you receive a call from a colleague registered as a Salesforce user, their department and name will be displayed. Once you receive a business card, you can register it on the spot using the camera and immediately share the information with your team members.

Whether you have already implemented Salesforce or are managing business cards for the first time, there are significant benefits.

Customers Utilizing Salesforce

 

For environments where Salesforce is already implemented, simply installing the Meishi Sonar application allows you to utilize business card management within your existing organization. Furthermore, it enables seamless registration and updates of business card information to Leads and Contacts. In addition to business card management for existing users, the license includes the ability to create new users who can exclusively use business card management features via OEM provision. You can share business cards using roles and public groups, and perform data aggregation and exports using reports. It is the easiest way to introduce business card management as a lead source that requires no manual input.

Customers Not Using Salesforce

 

Even if you have not implemented Salesforce, Meishi Sonar can be used as a standalone application running on the Salesforce platform for business card management purposes. While you will not be able to use Salesforce sales support functions, you can manage business cards with the high-level security provided by Salesforce. You can add sales support functions or various other applications to the same environment in the future. Since the primary management and configuration, including business card management, are common within Salesforce, you can keep the burden of system implementation low.

A "Good" icon is displayed for items where the recognition result is determined to be "over 99% accurate," simplifying the user's verification process.
Additionally, by cross-referencing with the latest corporate information for 12.5 million locations, we convert company names, addresses, phone numbers, and URLs on business cards into accurate data. This minimizes the need for manual corrections and achieves low costs.

We provide assistant permissions to register business cards for other users, and secretary permission functions to edit business cards for other users. You can designate specific personnel to handle registration and editing in bulk.

This is a service where you send us your physical business cards, and we scan them and register the data into Meishi Sonar for you. If you combine this with our "Correction Service," you can immediately utilize accurate data. This is highly recommended for users who possess a large volume of paper business cards.
* The Scanning Service and Correction Service are optional.

We cross-reference your business cards with the latest personnel change and organizational restructuring information. If a match is found, we notify the owner via email with the "Organizational Restructuring and Personnel Change Information." This allows you to acquire information about your business partners quickly.
You can also update your business card data in accordance with the latest information.
* The Personnel Change Information Distribution Service is optional.

Integrates with uSonar, one of Japan's largest corporate databases featuring 12.5 million locations. It corrects variations in company names and updates addresses and phone numbers, enabling smooth data cleansing and consolidation.
* A separate uSonar contract is required.
