SECOM operates businesses centered on security, as well as disaster prevention, medical services, insurance, geospatial information services, and BPO/ICT services. While the company was promoting data utilization to conduct efficient sales activities, it faced the following challenges:

・ The matching rate for existing customer information within the core system was low, resulting in duplicate data.
・ Targeting for sales activities was time-consuming.
・ Sales personnel's professional network information (business card data) was not visualized, preventing the company from effectively leveraging these connections.

To address this, SECOM implemented uSonar, a customer data integration tool powered by the LBC corporate master data, and uMeishi, a business card management application, to build a data infrastructure that improves the accuracy of customer information.

* uMeishi was discontinued in August 2025. The currently available business card management application is mSonar, which features significantly enhanced functionality.

Implementation Results

1. By using the LBC code as a key to consolidate existing customer information, the matching hit rate has improved, allowing for a more accurate understanding of service adoption status for each customer.
2. By leveraging corporate attributes such as industry, the time required for targeting has been reduced, enabling more efficient sales activities.
3. Internal networking information can now be shared company-wide, facilitating smoother sales activities and negotiations.

Moving forward, we will utilize the refined data for digital marketing to focus on efficient lead acquisition. Furthermore, we plan to strengthen data integration across the group to enhance group synergies.
