Following the enforcement of the revised General Law on National Taxes, MUFG Bank needed to assign and manage corporate numbers for its corporate clients.
To address this, uSonar collaborated on a project to assign corporate numbers by normalizing the bank's corporate client data using our long-cultivated data cleansing technology and matching it against our LBC corporate master database.

About Corporate Numbers

A Corporate Number is a 13-digit identifier assigned to corporations by the National Tax Agency. Based on the Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures, which was enacted on May 24, 2013 (promulgated on May 31, 2013), these numbers are notified to the relevant corporations and published alongside their trade name or name, and the location of their head office or principal place of business. The number consists of a 12-digit corporate registration number plus a 1-digit check digit.
