Following the enforcement of the revised General Law on National Taxes, MUFG Bank needed to assign and manage corporate numbers for its corporate clients.
Accordingly, uSonar collaborated on a project to assign corporate numbers by normalizing the bank's corporate client data using our long-cultivated data cleansing technology and matching it against our "LBC" corporate master database.

About Corporate Numbers

The Corporate Number is a 13-digit identifier assigned to corporations by the National Tax Agency, based on the Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures, which was enacted on May 24, 2013, and promulgated on May 31, 2013. Following notification to the relevant corporation, the number is published alongside the company's trade name or title and the address of its head office or principal place of business. It consists of the 12-digit Corporate Registration Number plus one additional check digit.
