About Corporate Numbers

The Corporate Number is a 13-digit identifier assigned to corporations based on the Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures, which was enacted on May 24, 2013 (promulgated on May 31, 2013) by the National Tax Agency. After notification to the relevant corporation, the number is published alongside the company's trade name, and the address of its head office or principal place of business. It consists of the 12-digit corporate registration number plus a 1-digit check digit.
