In its travel business, HIS has been strengthening its transactions with corporate clients in recent years, in addition to its individual travel services. With the increase in the number of corporate transactions, HIS introduced Kintone to improve operational efficiency. Kintone offers the advantage of being easy to use, with various apps (*1) available for business process improvement. However, because each department was using its own separate apps, the company faced challenges regarding the time and effort required to grasp the status of customers.
To address this, HIS introduced uSonar, a customer data integration solution that enables automatic maintenance and centralization of customer data in conjunction with Kintone. Additionally, the company implemented sideSonar, an SFA support tool that allows for the standardization of customer data from the point of registration, and the business card management app uMeishi.
*New subscriptions for sideSonar ended in February 2025. Analysis and list creation functions have been transferred to PLANSonar, and CRM/SFA enhancement functions have been transferred to GuideSonar.
*The uMeishi service ended in August 2025. The currently available business card management app is mSonar, which features significantly enhanced functionality.
Benefits of Implementation
1. Achieved centralized data management using LBC codes, which are assigned to each business location nationwide, as the key.
Reduced the annual operational time spent on registering and maintaining customer data by 80%.
2. Built a system for the immediate sharing of standardized information by integrating Kintone's information aggregation apps with sideSonar and uMeishi.
3. Achieved targeting that visualizes the company's strengths and weaknesses based on the market share of existing customers.
Enabled efficient creation of target lists based on maintained data, reducing annual operational time for list creation by 72%.
[Integration Overview]

*1 Kintone apps refer to applications equipped with various functions. The total number of active apps has exceeded 240,000, allowing users to utilize business apps with simple mouse operations without complex programming. Specific examples include apps for customer management, transportation expense applications, daily reports, and contract management.
