To strengthen marketing for small and medium-sized enterprises, Resona Bank implemented uSonar, a customer data integration solution equipped with LBC, a corporate master database covering 12.5 million locations. Additionally, to effectively utilize data, the bank implemented Sales Cloud, a sales force automation (SFA) tool provided by Salesforce, but identified the following three challenges:
・ Centralized management of customer information using a unified code (corporate number)
・ Formulation of optimal strategies utilizing corporate attributes
・ Prevention of sales overlaps by sharing business card information across the entire company
Consequently, Resona Bank integrated uSonar with Sales Cloud, achieving data centralization by appending corporate numbers and corporate attributes to customer information. Subsequently, the bank implemented the business card management app uMeishi, establishing a system infrastructure for effective data utilization. Resona Bank is considering the implementation of 2,000 IDs for uMeishi across all branches in the future and plans to expand the scope of its data utilization.

*The uMeishi service was discontinued in August 2025. The currently available business card management app is mSonar, which features significantly enhanced functionality.

Previously, the only way to link corporate numbers was to request disclosure from clients or to conduct individual research for each company. By utilizing LBC integrated with corporate numbers, the bank can now automatically append corporate numbers without manual effort. Furthermore, by utilizing LBC, it is possible to accurately grasp group relationships down to the office level, rather than just at the headquarters level, and manage customer information accordingly.
