(Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Kanemoto Ken-nin; hereinafter "OKWAVE") to enable integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online (an integrated CRM application service provided by Microsoft Corporation).

Background of Implementation

In 2013, the Enterprise Solutions Division of OKWAVE implemented Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online with the goal of strengthening its SFA capabilities. To maximize the utility of Dynamics CRM Online and visualize both prospective and existing customers, it was necessary to centrally manage data that was previously dispersed across various departments, including sales, marketing, and information systems. To achieve this "centralization of customer information," OKWAVE implemented the customer data integration tool "uSonar" from uSonar Co., Ltd. to integrate and organize customer data for the purpose of strengthening CRM in its enterprise solutions business.

Benefits of Integrating "uSonar" with Dynamics CRM Online

1. Links data within Dynamics CRM Online to corporate master data, enabling automatic data deduplication. This prevents data fragmentation and provides an accurate overview of sales activities.
2. Captured business card information is instantly digitized and automatically registered into Dynamics CRM Online using a scanner or the optional business card management app "uMeishi."
3. Automatically appends corporate attributes (such as company size and industry) to business card data, enabling targeted sales strategies based on these attributes.
4. Since the corporate master data is updated automatically, the data within Dynamics CRM Online is also maintained in its latest state.


*The uMeishi service was discontinued in August 2025. The currently available business card management application is mSonar, which features significantly enhanced functionality.

Implementation Results

By implementing the customer data integration tool "uSonar," OKWAVE successfully consolidated data that had been dispersed across departments. Through accurate deduplication and the addition of corporate attributes (such as company size and industry), the company achieved more efficient sales activities focused on high-priority customers. Furthermore, by utilizing these corporate attributes to approach existing customers, OKWAVE succeeded in increasing the number of new site orders from existing clients by 25% compared to the period before the implementation of uSonar.
