uSonar Expands Data Provided via Nikkei Telecom
— Now Offering LBC Business Location Data in Addition to Corporate Headquarters Information —

uSonar Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Nami Fukutomi; President: Katsuhito Nagatake; hereinafter "uSonar") is expanding the uSonar corporate database LBC information provided through Nikkei Inc.'s (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Tsuyoshi Hasebe) business information service, Nikkei Telecom, to include "business location-level information."
Following the integration of Nikkei WHO'S WHO information into our corporate information and mSonar business card management application earlier this month, uSonar remains committed to contributing to greater convenience in the business community through data provision across both platforms.

In the corporate world, the promotion of DX and data-driven strategies is accelerating.
We recognize that this is because improving operational efficiency and productivity has become a critical challenge for companies as they prepare for the future decline in the working-age population.
uSonar aims to meet these needs by providing more appropriate data.
Nikkei Telecom is an information platform operated by Nikkei Inc. that offers a wide range of information necessary for corporate activities as a leading business information service. It is primarily utilized by various departments, including sales, planning, research, auditing, and development.
Meanwhile, uSonar provides services that deliver the full volume of its "LBC"*—the largest corporate database in Japan, covering companies down to the individual business location level—to client companies. It is primarily utilized by sales, marketing, and information systems departments.
While uSonar has been providing "headquarters information" from its LBC corporate database to Nikkei Telecom since December 2023, we have decided to expand the provided information to meet the needs for corporate location data (such as branches and factories). *Holds the largest number of data entries for headquarters and business locations of Japanese companies (based on our own research as of September 29, 2024)

From the LBC, one of Japan's largest corporate databases collected and accumulated by uSonar, we are expanding our offerings to include approximately 2.2 million business location records (as of September 2024), in addition to the existing corporate headquarters information for approximately 4.2 million companies with Corporate Numbers (as of September 2024).
