uSonar Expands Data Provided via Nikkei Telecom
— Now Providing LBC Business Location Data in Addition to Corporate Headquarters Information —

uSonar Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Nami Fukutomi; President: Katsuhito Nagatake; hereinafter "uSonar") is expanding the uSonar corporate database LBC information provided through the business information service "Nikkei Telecom," operated by Nikkei Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Tsuyoshi Hasebe), to include "Business Location Information."
Earlier this month, we integrated Nikkei WHO'S WHO information into our corporate information viewing and business card management app, mSonar. Moving forward, uSonar remains committed to contributing to the convenience of the business community through data provision across both platforms.

In the corporate world, the promotion of digital transformation (DX) and data-driven strategies is accelerating.
We recognize that this is because improving operational efficiency and productivity has become a critical challenge for companies as they prepare for the future decline in the working-age population.
uSonar aims to meet these needs by providing more relevant data.
Nikkei Telecom is an information platform provided by Nikkei Inc. that offers a wide range of information necessary for corporate activities as a leading business information service. It is primarily utilized by various departments, including sales, planning, research, auditing, and development.
Meanwhile, uSonar provides services that offer client companies full access to "LBC,"* the largest corporate database in Japan, which covers information down to the level of individual corporate activity locations. It is primarily used by sales, marketing, and information systems departments.
While we have been providing "Headquarters Information" from the uSonar LBC corporate database to Nikkei Telecom since December 2023, we have decided to expand the provided information to meet the needs for corporate location data (such as branches and factories). *Holds the largest number of data points for headquarters and business locations of Japanese companies (based on our own research as of September 29, 2024).

From the LBC, one of the largest corporate databases in Japan collected and accumulated by uSonar, we are expanding the data to include approximately 2.2 million business location records (as of September 2024) in addition to the existing corporate headquarters information for approximately 4.2 million companies with corporate numbers (as of September 2024).
