Over the past few years, the term "DX" has gained widespread recognition, leading many companies to invest heavily in IT tools and talent. However, the phenomenal development of generative AI during this time has subjected our environment to unprecedented transformation. In this climate, many companies likely feel a sense of urgency that their ability to successfully create new value through DX initiatives will have a significant impact on their future survival.

The "Data-Driven DX Forum," hosted by uSonar Co., Ltd., has been held three times previously, serving as a platform for many corporate executives to learn from the expertise and case studies of knowledgeable experts.

For this fourth installment, we are honored to host W. Chan Kim, the author of the global best-selling management strategy book "Blue Ocean Strategy," who will be joining us from Singapore.
On the day of the event, we will connect directly with W. Chan Kim online for a real-time lecture.

This is a special lecture exclusive to this event, focusing on B2B marketing. We have also allocated ample time for a Q&A session with Mr. Kim following his presentation. This is a rare and valuable opportunity, so we encourage you to join us at the venue (the lecture will be interpreted into Japanese).

Additionally, as a guest speaker, we are pleased to welcome Ryo Sakuda, author of "PipeGen Management: Bright Sales Strategies for Managers." Mr. Sakuda will share insights on "continuously creating opportunities," a management approach he arrived at after his own desperate experience of leading a top-performing team to failure upon becoming a manager at Salesforce Japan.

The event will be held at a hotel in Minato-ku, Tokyo.
Following W. Chan Kim's lecture, we have planned a session featuring light refreshments, a Q&A with Mr. Kim, and networking discussions among participating companies.

    Professor W. Chan Kim

    W. Chan Kim is a Professor of Strategy and Co-Director of the INSEAD Blue Ocean Strategy Institute in Fontainebleau, France. Prior to joining INSEAD, he served as a professor at the University of Michigan Business School. He currently serves as an advisor to various national governments and multinational corporations across Europe, the United States, and the Asia-Pacific region.

    He is the co-author of the USA Today bestseller "Beyond Disruption: Innovate and Achieve Growth without Displacing Industries, Companies, or Jobs" (Harvard Business Review Press, May 2023). His global bestseller "Blue Ocean Strategy," which has sold over 4 million copies, is widely recognized as one of the most iconic and influential strategy books in history. He is also the co-author of "Blue Ocean Shift," which reached #1 on the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and Los Angeles Times bestseller lists.

    In 2023, Kim and his colleague Renée Mauborgne were honored as one of the four key thinkers by the Harvard Business Review in celebration of its 100th anniversary, in recognition of their extensive research and ideas that have had a significant global impact. In 2019, he and Renée Mauborgne were named the world's most influential management thinkers by Thinkers50. To date, educational materials on Blue Ocean Strategy and Blue Ocean Shift have been adopted by over 3,000 universities worldwide.

As a direct sales representative, she has supported marketing initiatives centered on customer data for companies across various industries, including major system integrators and financial institutions. Driven by the philosophy of "building a sales team where everyone can succeed," she has consistently achieved significant performance targets through effective team building. Since her appointment as COO and Head of Sales Division in 2026, she has been focused on establishing data-driven sales processes across the entire sales department.

    Senior Executive Officer, CRO of B2B Business, Uzabase, Inc.
    After graduating from university, he joined Hewlett-Packard Japan. As an account manager, he primarily served major manufacturers and energy-related companies. In 2012, he joined Salesforce. After gaining experience in enterprise sales, he became the youngest Commercial Sales Department Manager at the time in 2016. He was involved in new customer acquisition, deepening relationships with existing clients, and developing team members for small and medium-sized enterprises and growing ventures. From February 2020, he served as Executive Officer and Head of the Strategic Sales Division, responsible for the planning and execution of sales strategies. He was appointed Executive Officer in 2022. In May 2024, he became an Executive Officer at Uzabase, and has served as Senior Executive Officer and CRO since January 2025.
