Company News
uSonar Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Nami Fukutomi; hereinafter "uSonar") is pleased to announce the development and launch of its proprietary AI feature, "uBrain."
uBrain is a corporate support AI that aggregates and outputs information from uSonar's LBC (the largest corporate database in Japan) and data unique to each user company.
It is distinct from existing AI models that rely on internet searches as their primary information source.
Development Background and Features of uBrain
uBrain leverages corporate information from LBC, the largest corporate database in Japan.
LBC is built upon reliable public information, including databases from trusted partners, verified news sources, corporate websites, and commercial registrations for 4.6 million companies, along with related real estate registrations.
uBrain operates in a closed environment where information is not leaked externally. Within this secure data environment, user companies can utilize specific information unique to them, such as "business card exchange data," "client information" (SFA integration data), and "sales activity data" (mSonar chat and calendar functions).
By using uBrain, companies can obtain high-precision customer insights and enhanced sales support.
mSonar: The First Application to Implement uBrain
uBrain has been implemented first in the corporate information and business card management app, "mSonar."
After searching in the "Company" tab of mSonar, clicking the "uBrain" button in the upper left generates an AI-driven corporate summary. Based on your company's unique characteristics and the relationship with the target company, it provides detailed information and suggests specific approaches.
◯ Key Display Items
General Observations, Recommended Actions, Transaction Information, Cautionary Information (e.g., Anti-Social Forces), Corporate Trends, Industry Topics, Growth and Financial Trends, Relevance to Your Services, and Points of Contact (Contact Person, Frequency of Contact, Days Since Last Contact)
◯ Use Cases
By checking this information quickly before business meetings, users can expect to streamline sales preparation and tailor their approach to specific client needs.
Using uBrain
◯ We will begin offering the service free of charge in June, with a paid subscription model starting July 1st.
◯ For details regarding terms of use, please contact us via our website inquiry form or speak with your sales representative.
uBrain was developed not merely as a convenient tool for individuals, but based on the philosophy of accumulating organizational knowledge—such as daily proposals, inquiry responses, reasons for lost deals, and success stories—to cultivate "corporate intelligence."
We will continue to roll out this feature across our services to provide it to all our user companies.
With the tagline "Corporate data in the palm of your hand," this is an evolved business card management app equipped with Japan's largest corporate database. It consolidates rapid business information flow—from corporate research and business card management to internal communication—into a single smartphone app. When you scan a business card using your smartphone or a scanner, it is instantly digitized and linked to the corresponding corporate data.
Beyond checking information available on business cards, it integrates with CRM/SFA systems and includes chat and internal extension functions, eliminating the need to switch between different applications. A PC browser version, "GuideSonar," is also available.
