uSonar Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Chairman and Representative Director: Nami Fukutomi) is pleased to announce the implementation of the "Organizational Overview" feature in our corporate information and business card management application, mSonar*1.
The "Organizational Overview" feature utilizes uSonar's proprietary patented technology*2 for the integration, structuring, and visualization of business card information and corporate data. This allows users to identify "who to approach next" and other key insights.
This patent covers the identification of white space, such as unowned business cards or departments and job titles, and any similar expressions will be considered within the scope of the patent.
Background of This Implementation
In recent years, there has been an increasing emphasis on sales strategies that involve identifying key decision-makers and departments, and determining the next point of contact based on existing relationships.
To meet these needs, we have developed a feature that leverages LBC*3, Japan's largest corporate database, and our proprietary patented technology to support the visualization of corporate organizations, the organization of existing company touchpoints, and the identification of unapproached organizations and target areas.
Features of "Organizational Overview"
This feature displays departments and job titles in a tree format, allowing users to check touchpoints (whether business cards have been exchanged) at a glance.
Users can visually identify unapproached departments and job levels (white space), enabling faster decision-making for subsequent actions.
Open mSonar (GuideSonar) → "Company" Tab → "Company Details" Screen → "Organizational Overview"
By tapping on a department, you can view the organizational hierarchy, display names of individuals within the department, see color-coded indicators of whether a business card has already been received, and view the percentage of touchpoints established within that department.
*This feature will be implemented first in GuideSonar, the PC browser version of mSonar, and subsequently in mSonar.
*1: About the Corporate Information & Business Card Management App "mSonar"
With the tagline "Corporate data in the palm of your hand," this is an evolved business card management application equipped with Japan's largest corporate database. It consolidates rapid information flow in business—from corporate research and business card management to internal communication—into a single smartphone app. When you scan a business card with your smartphone or scanner, it is instantly digitized and linked to the corresponding corporate data. Beyond checking information available on business cards, it integrates with CRM/SFA systems and includes chat and extension functions, eliminating the need to switch between different applications. A PC browser version, "GuideSonar," is also available.

This is Japan's largest corporate database, independently built by uSonar. (Japan's largest: based on our own research as of March 31, 2026)
We assign an 11-digit management code to approximately 12.5 million business locations across Japan. It maintains attribute information such as corporate numbers, industry, sales scale, capital affiliation, and headquarters/branch relationships, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of the national scale and affiliation structure. It covers a wide range of data, from offline sources like commercial registries to online corporate information, integrating and accumulating over 120 items of information.
