Company News
uSonar Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Nami Fukutomi; hereinafter "uSonar") is pleased to announce that its corporate information and business card management app, "mSonar," has integrated data with the advisor introduction service "Komon Meikan" (Komon Meikan Co., Ltd.; Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Hiroo Tsutsumi; hereinafter "Komon Meikan").

Background of the Data Integration Between mSonar and Komon Meikan
The "mSonar" app provided by uSonar is a business smartphone application that offers standard business card management features while providing unlimited access to "LBC," Japan's largest corporate database covering 12.5 million business locations.
A key feature of the app is its ability to digitize exchanged business cards and share them internally linked with corporate information, while also allowing users to check detailed corporate information for companies with which they have not yet exchanged business cards.
On the other hand, in B2B transactions, there is a persistent need to "approach companies with which there is no existing contact" and "approach high-level executives if possible." This applies not only to sales scenarios but also to alliance negotiations and other business activities.
In recent years, advisor referral services have been increasing to meet these B2B needs. One of the major services is "Komon Meikan." At "Komon Meikan," former directors and other professionals from primarily listed companies participate as "advisors." To meet the need for approaching companies with no existing contact, they provide a wide range of support to help realize business deals, including setting up meetings with key personnel, offering advice to refine proposals, gathering information, and providing follow-up after meetings.
To meet the business need of "wanting to approach companies with which there is no contact via business cards," mSonar and "Komon Meikan" have recently integrated their data.
How to Use the Advisor Referral Feature (3 Steps)
Through this data integration, information regarding the professional backgrounds of advisors participating in "Komon Meikan" has been matched with "LBC." Users can now contact the "Komon Meikan" inquiry desk via the "Advisor Referral Available" button located on the "Company Details" screen in mSonar.
1: Search for the target company you wish to approach in mSonar
2: The "Advisor Referral Available" button is displayed for companies where an advisor is registered
3: Tap the button to contact the "Komon Meikan" inquiry desk and request advisor utilization

• A paid contract with "Komon Meikan" is required in advance to begin using this service.
• mSonar will never contact advisors directly (mSonar does not hold any personal information regarding advisors).
• This feature is also available in GuideSonar, the browser-based version of mSonar.
