What Is the International Security Standard SOC2 Type2?
SOC2 stands for System and Organization Controls 2. It is a framework in which third-party organizations, such as audit firms or certified public accountants, evaluate the internal controls related to the security of cloud services based on the Trust Services Criteria established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Type1 evaluates the design of internal controls as of a specific date, which uSonar obtained in March 2025. Following this, we have been working to obtain Type2, which evaluates the operational effectiveness of internal controls over a specific period.
