uSonar Obtains SOC2 Type2 Certification, Expanding Enterprise Capabilities
~ Strengthening the Operating Environment to Provide Secure and Reliable Services ~

uSonar Co., Ltd., a company positioning itself as a "Specialized Trading Company for Corporate Data," is pleased to announce that it has obtained "SOC2 Type2" certification—an internationally recognized assurance report for internal controls—for its suite of database services, including "PLANSonar" and "mSonar." This achievement establishes a framework that allows corporate clients, including large enterprises with stringent security requirements, to adopt and utilize our services more rapidly and with greater peace of mind.

SOC2 stands for "System and Organization Controls 2." It is a framework in which third-party organizations (such as audit firms or certified public accountants) evaluate internal controls related to the security of cloud services and other systems, based on the Trust Services Criteria established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
"Type1" evaluates whether the design of internal controls is appropriate as of a specific date, which uSonar obtained in March 2025. Since then, we have been working toward obtaining "Type2," which evaluates the operational effectiveness of internal controls over a specific period.

uSonar provides various services, including the business strategy platform "PLANSonar" and the corporate information & business card management app "mSonar," which have been adopted by over 1,100 companies, primarily large enterprises.

In particular, there is an increasing demand for high-level security standards for cloud services from financial institutions and globally expanding companies that are increasingly adopting our solutions.

Therefore, in addition to the "ISMS" certification we have already held, we decided to obtain the internationally recognized "SOC2 Type2" certification.

With the acquisition of "SOC2 Type2",
