uSonar Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Chairperson: Nami Fukutomi; President: Katsuhito Nagatake; hereinafter uSonar) hosted the "Economic Security Seminar: The Latest International Environment and New Standards Required for Executives" in Tokyo on June 4, featuring Sanae Takaichi, Member of the House of Representatives and former Minister of State for Economic Security, as the keynote speaker.
Approximately 100 representatives from 70 companies, including executives from firms designated as providers of critical materials and essential infrastructure, attended the event. Given the increasingly challenging international landscape, the seminar served as a forum to address a wide range of issues, including supply chain risk management, strategies to prevent the leakage of cutting-edge technology, and cybersecurity.
Purpose of the Event
Amidst a challenging international climate, it has become essential for companies to address "Economic Security."
As a provider of information services that assist corporate clients with supply chain and business partner screening, uSonar organized this lecture by inviting Ms. Takaichi, who has been a pioneer in addressing economic security. The event provided an opportunity for corporate stakeholders to reflect on the importance of economic security together.
