uSonar Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Chairperson: Nami Fukutomi; President: Katsuhito Nagatake; hereinafter "uSonar") held an "Economic Security Seminar: The Latest International Environment and New Common Sense Required for Business Leaders" in Tokyo on June 4, featuring Sanae Takaichi, Member of the House of Representatives and former Minister of State for Economic Security, as a guest speaker.
Approximately 100 representatives from 70 companies, including executives from businesses designated as providers of critical materials and essential infrastructure, attended the event. Given the increasingly challenging international landscape, the seminar served as a forum to discuss a wide range of issues, including supply chain risk management, countermeasures against the leakage of cutting-edge technology, and cybersecurity.

Under the current challenging international climate, it has become essential for companies to address "Economic Security."
As a provider of information services that assist corporations in checking business partners and managing supply chains, uSonar organized this lecture by inviting Ms. Takaichi, who has been a pioneer in addressing economic security.
