Corporate News
uSonar Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Nami Fukutomi; President: Katsuhito Nagatake; hereinafter "uSonar"), which supports corporate DX by leveraging Japan's largest corporate master data, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a partnership with PIANO Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Ryo Shioya; hereinafter "PIANO Japan"), provider of the digital business platform "Piano".

Service Overview: Realizing Japan's first * server-side integration
Through this integration, we have achieved the first server-side collaboration in Japan between a private DMP, "piano dmp" for digital media, and "LBC," the largest corporate master database in Japan provided by uSonar.
In this integration, when a page view is received by piano dmp, the visitor's IP address is matched against over 40 million IP addresses in the LBC database. Corporate data, including company name, major industry, sub-industry, revenue range, employee count range, and listing status, is automatically appended to the page view data in real time.

Service Features
This integration offers the following three key features.
Feature 1
Corporate data, maintained by over 4,000 uSonar staff members, is automatically appended to site visitors (including anonymous users) and stored in piano dmp for utilization.
This is highly effective for addressing challenges where member data is not held on the site, or where the existing member database is too small to be effectively utilized.
Feature 2
Because all page view data is matched on the server side, high-precision corporate data can be reliably appended to page views whenever a match is found with the corporate IP addresses managed by LBC.
This eliminates the common issue of "low data matching rates" often encountered with client-side integrations.
Feature 3
No LBC data is exchanged within the browser, allowing for highly secure utilization within piano dmp.
Unlike client-side integrations, where matching results can be viewed within the browser, this integration ensures high confidentiality and eliminates such security concerns.
Messages from Both Companies
Ryo Shioya, Representative Director and President of PIANO Japan, commented on this partnership as follows:
"I am very pleased that the integration between piano dmp, which is the de facto standard for major domestic publishers, and the LBC provided by uSonar has been completed.
It is now possible to match the rich and accurate LBC corporate data with piano dmp without security risks or data corruption. I am confident that by accurately analyzing and targeting site audiences using corporate data, we will contribute to the improvement of digital advertising revenue."
Furthermore, Daiki Yoshikawa, Executive Officer at uSonar, commented as follows:
"We sincerely welcome the integration of LBC, one of Japan's largest corporate master databases, into Piano DMP by PIANO Japan K.K.
Against the backdrop of the rapid expansion of non-face-to-face business models, diversifying needs, and regulations regarding third-party cookies, it has become difficult to estimate the interests and concerns of potential corporate clients.
We expect that by utilizing LBC, the value of site audiences held by Piano DMP user companies will be significantly enhanced."
Looking Ahead
In the digital media landscape, as we approach the cookieless era, the key lies in how well companies can understand visiting users and conduct data analysis that does not rely on third-party data or internal site measures alone.
The partnership between uSonar and PIANO Japan will further promote data utilization for digital media companies engaged in B2B business, supporting the improvement of corporate revenue.
