Corporate News
Landscape Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Katsuhito Nagatake; hereinafter "Landscape"), a provider of database marketing support, hereby announces that it has strengthened its personal data protection framework to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter "GDPR").
Building upon its existing information management frameworks—including ISO/IEC 27001:2013, as well as ISO/IEC 27017:2015 and ISO/IEC 27018:2019 for cloud service information security management—Landscape has expanded the scope of its personal data protection and handling procedures to meet GDPR requirements. This includes updating relevant terms of service and ensuring that each product is GDPR-compliant, thereby implementing appropriate protection measures for personal data from both organizational and technical perspectives.
This initiative was developed under the supervision of TMI Associates, a law firm specializing in data utilization and cybersecurity.
Landscape has strengthened the information security management framework for its customer data integration solution, uSonar, and its business card management application, uMeishi, to ensure the continued provision of secure and reliable cloud services to our customers.

By utilizing LBC as a master dictionary for OCR (Optical Character Recognition) data analysis technology, the application enables instant data correction and high-precision digitization simply by photographing a business card.
