Landscape Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Katsuhito Nagatake; hereinafter referred to as "Landscape"), a company supporting database marketing, is pleased to announce that in addition to the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification already held, it has newly acquired certifications for the international standards for information security management regarding cloud services, ISO/IEC 27017:2015 and ISO/IEC 27018:2019.
Landscape will continue to strengthen its information security management system regarding personal data for its customer data integration solution, uSonar, and its business card management application, uMeishi, to ensure the continued provision of secure and reliable cloud services to our customers.

* Differences Between ISO/IEC 27018:2019 and the Privacy Mark (P-Mark):
ISO/IEC 27018:2019 is a standard that specializes in the protection of personal information stored in the cloud, with an emphasis on the implementation of technical controls. Another key difference from the Privacy Mark is that it is a globally recognized international standard.
uSonar is a cloud-based data integration tool that allows for the consolidation and management of various information related to customers. It incorporates the expertise in cleansing data across diverse formats that Landscape has cultivated over many years, as well as our proprietary corporate master data, LBC. It enables seamless integration with solutions such as CRM/SFA, business card management, Marketing Automation (MA), and DMP.

uMeishi is a business card management application that leverages LBC (8.2 million locations), the largest corporate master database in Japan, owned by Landscape. By utilizing LBC as a master dictionary for OCR (Optical Character Recognition) data analysis technology, the app instantly corrects data simply by scanning a business card, enabling high-precision digitization. Furthermore, it can append attribute information such as industry, annual revenue, and corporate registration numbers to the business card data, facilitating immediate utilization of the information.
