Landscape, Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and COO: Katsuhito Nagatake; hereinafter "Landscape"), a provider of database marketing support, has conducted a survey on the management of customer and prospect data to clarify the current state of data management and customer acquisition efforts within B2B companies.
■ Trends in Awareness Regarding Customer Data Management and Utilization
A total of 44.3% of respondents indicated that they feel there are "significant issues" or "some issues" with the way their company manages customer and prospect data. This reveals that nearly half of the respondents are concerned about the current state of data management at their workplace.
Conversely, only 19.3% of respondents stated that they feel there are "almost no issues" or "no issues at all."
Furthermore, a cross-tabulation by annual revenue scale showed that the perception of "significant issues" or "some issues" tends to increase as the company's revenue scale grows.
In addition, this survey clarifies the following points:
