Last September, our company released a lifestyle survey report covering 21 items, based on responses from 1,113 affluent individuals residing in Tokyo, Yokohama, and Kamakura. While that report provided a quantitative analysis of affluent lifestyles through numerical data and charts, this new report serves as the narrative counterpart.
We selected 10 subjects with diverse profiles from the survey respondents and conducted in-depth interviews regarding their use of products and services across categories such as travel, fashion, watches, jewelry, housing, food, health, medical care, asset management, and credit cards, while also exploring the reasons behind their preferences.
This report provides valuable insights for companies operating in industries such as travel, real estate, apparel, watches, jewelry, and finance, as well as for those planning to enter the market for affluent consumers. By understanding the realities of the lifestyles, living consciousness, and consumption habits of the affluent segment, we believe companies can expand their businesses targeting affluent individuals, thereby significantly stimulating the economy.
