Report Overview
This report presents the findings of our survey regarding dissatisfaction with the reliability of generative AI in business operations and the requirements for improving utilization levels.
The survey results indicate that a total of 70.4% of respondents reported feeling dissatisfied with the accuracy or reliability of AI responses either "frequently" or "sometimes." When asked about the causes, only 12.4% cited "lack of prompting skills," while 61.4% pointed to "the quality of data referenced by AI and information limitations," highlighting the true nature of the issue.
Furthermore, 72.8% of respondents spend five minutes or more each time verifying or fact-checking AI responses, revealing that the "cost of using AI" is offsetting productivity gains. With the majority of respondents identifying "data accuracy and freshness" as the most critical factor for improving AI utilization levels, the findings demonstrate that establishing a robust data environment is the key to promoting the effective use of generative AI.
This report provides a multifaceted analysis, including the reality of tasks that cannot be left entirely to AI and evaluations regarding accuracy during report creation.
